Type locality Type locality uncertain: Férussac (1814) introduced the species by indication of an illustration in Brard (1809). That author referred to three localities, i.e., Lonjumeau, Saint-Prix and Franconville (all near Paris). However, it is unclear from which of these localities the illustrated specimens comes from, on which Férussac's name is based. [details]
