Spelling In the original description, d'Orbigny used the spelling torallii, changed to torallyi in 1838. Torally was a French medical doctor in Chuquisaca (Bolivia), who accompanied d'Orbigny on parts of his journey. The spelling torallyi has won general acceptance and is to be maintained. [details]
