Biology Type of larval development: not documented [inferred from prodissoconch morphology to be short planktonic, non-planktotrophic] [details]

Diagnosis Shell oval in contour, inequilateral with hardly prominent unbos situated towards the anterior one-third and maximum shell height situated on the posterior one-fourth. Ligamental area small and narrow. Cardinal line with 4-5 teeth anterior to the umbo and about ten posterior to it, increasing in size and becoming more oblique as they are situated further away from the umbo. Exterior with flat comarginal cords, broader than the interspaces, crossed by fant radial ribs which are more developed in the posterior part. Periostracum yellowish with few bristles towards the ventral margin the margin. Colour of shell white. [details]
