Distribution In the western Atlantic, from the Gulf of St. Lawrence and the western slope of Newfoundland, including the southern part of the Strait of Belle Isle, Cobscook Bay to Connecticut and New Jersey; in the eastern Atlantic, southern Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Faeroes, Netherlands, British Isles to the Atlantic coast of France. It probably also occurs off southern Portugal, but this has yet to be confirmed. [details]
