Etymology Named for an American collector, Oscar Tollin (19**-19**). Ramsden (1915) named a new species for specimens collected by O. Tollin. However, if the birth year above is correct, he would have been quite young. Was it his father or another relative? 2,400 Years of Malacology lists no other Tollin. [details]
