Spelling Although Fulton did not give an etymology for the species name polychroa, it is obviously derived from the Greekpoikilos, meaning varicolored, and the noun chroa, meaning surface/color of the skin. Hence it is a noun in apposition and it does not agreen in gender with the genus name it is combined with. [details]
