Description Unmistakable large, elongated, solid and heavy shell, up to 20 cm. Shoulders of body and upper whorls with thick, blunt nodules. Surface often with fine brown, spiral lines. Colour golden brown, aperture pale. Habitat: seagrass beds. Distribution: Indo-Pacific. Regional names: Kis. Kome, Kome fundwa; MCr. Conocono. (Richmond, 1997). [details]
