Note Iredale established Anarithma "for the shell...  
Type species Iredale established Anarithma "for the shell commonly known as Columbella lachryma, Gaskoin" [= Mitra lachryma Reeve, 1845], which he treated as a synonym of Clavatula metula. Boyer [2022: 84] recognized Mitra lachryma and Clavatula metula as two distinct species, and "restored" Mitra lachryma as the type species of Anarithma. This is a case that would fall under ICZN Art. 70.3 which, however, was not cited by Boyer, leaving Clavatula metula as the type species of Anarithma[details]
