Nomenclature Phymorhynchus cingulatus (Dall, 1890) and Phymorhynchus cingulatus Warén & Bouchet, 2009 are secondary homonyms. However, the systematics of Phymorhynchus is still unstable and, after revision and molecular data, the two species may end up in different genera. It is thus premature to establish a replacement name for the younger homonym. [details]
