Validity Type material not located. It was described from Sant Cruz (Southern Argentina). The editor agrees with Steiner & Kabat (2004: 609) in the type material has not be found, the generic placement and validity of this species remains uncertain, as it is the tentative synonymy propoed by Dell, 1964 (:122) with Dentalium majorinum or Rhabdus perceptus.
