Taxonomic remark "it remains to be investigated whether the taxon that was previously anatomically investigated by Schileyko (1984) is conspecific with snails from the type locality of the real M. umbrosa (Borjomi). If it is conspecific, M. umbrosa is not a synonym of M. obscura (and should be placed in Akramovskiella as it is the type species of Akramovskiella), but if it is not conspecifc, the taxon that was investigated anatomically needs to be renamed (and the type species of Akramovskiella should be corrected in accordance with ICZN Article 70.3.2)."
